Karl has been working hard & the entryway is getting better each hour!!! So far today, he finished taking out the plaster that divided the LR and entry up to the ceiling. Now he is removing the old expanded metal (for the plaster corners) to make way for the new ceiling we will put in. When asked how he was doing, Karl reported he is "Sweaty - the attic is very hot!" If you are wondering what all the fuss is about, a closet took up the space where Karl is standing on the ladder - so this really opens up the available space for three little ones & two adults to put on shoes, etc.!!!

I have been doing odd jobs over here - emailing our Agency, making phone calls, buying groceries, serving lunch, etc. Food makes my Handyman happy :)
On another note, a very good friend of ours challenged me to take a Spanish class at the local college while she takes a French class (she & her Hubby are adopting from Haiti). Well, Karl thought it was a really good idea for me to take a Spanish class!!! So, he had me look up the Fall Schedule, and it looks like I will be enrolling in a daytime beginner's Spanish course! I plan to work hard & get an "A!" (Oh yes, my Mom will want to see my Report Card!!!)
