Here's the "highlights" for yesterday:
- Wrote to our Health Insurance about our Immunization ordeal: in our plan, the Hepatitis A & B immunizations are covered in full. But, we need the combo Hepatitis A & B shots because it takes effect within 3 months (rather than 6+ which won't do us any good). None of the local contracted providers have the combo shots! Only the Health Department has the combo shot - but they aren't "on the list." The clock is ticking and we need these shots!!! They didn't respond yesterday and I am hoping they will today!!!
- Met for dinner & studied together for our SPANISH QUIZ & then had class for 2 hours. We did quite well on the quiz & enjoyed class - we are "settling in" to it; it is becoming less stressful & more "natural."
- Worked (very late) to update our address list & letter. (I hope Karl can keep his eyelids open today!) If you would like a letter & think we might not have your address, let me know - the mailing extravaganza will take place tomorrow!
- Got this surprise in the mail...
This portfolio we've received contains all the travel in's & out's that we need to know as we prepare to travel, when we are in Colombia & what we should expect, what we might think to pack, hints, etc. - Muy importante. We only had time to open the envelope & glance at it. We haven't memorized its contents yet :)
The agenda for today is running to pick up our mailing supplies & stamps, going the library, etc.
