We found out that our Dossier is in Colombia now!
It is great news that it arrived!
The other news is that the sibling group we were waiting to find out about has been matched with another family.
We have been praying that those children would go to the right family, & that the Lord would match us with the children He wants in our family.
Now we'll wait a little while to find out who our children will be,
and we will be working on preparing the best we can.
Even with this change, we won't have a lot of time left to get things ready! It will still move rather quickly!
I am working on the immunizations still - ALL AFTERNOON!
I am hoping to have some success sooner than later...& it looks like this unending job is going to carry over to tomorrow unfortunately.

My heart instantly felt the "ooohh" that those children were matched to another family. May we pray that the Lord call them by name no matter what family they are put in. And may the Lord keep us all humble on our knees praying for His perfect will and His family for you - that in the hearts of the children He has for you, he would be preparing fertile ground for the Great News coming to them!!

Karl and Julie, I was thinking that you might have some mixed emotions with this development. We will be praying that the Lord will complete your family in His perfect way.
You have the right attitude . . . God will bring YOUR kiddos to you when the timing is PERFECT. I often look at sibling groups of three matched around the same time as us and think, "Mmmmm, they could have been ours. . . . " But I don't need to do that! God has matched us with our kids and they are the RIGHT ones FOR US, that God knew would always be a part of our family! I honestly wouldn't want any other three kids in the world now that we are all together!! I am soooooo excited to learn who YOUR KIDS are!!
Congrats on the dossier! You have a great attitude about the sibling group...I know there is still some heart attachment to mourn, but you are so right that it will be for the best. God bless you guys.
It is so nice to know that God is in control and not us! I am praising the Lord with you all that these kids DO have a home. Praying for a quick wait for you all and that you will continue to bring Him glory as you are now!
Oh, We can certainly identify with your feelings and what you must have experienced upon learning those children were matched to another family. It's never easy, we know, as we've lost out on 2 sets of sibling groups thus far. But it has grown our faith tremendously and the ultimate comfort comes from knowing God will one day reveal our 3 siblings to us, but it will only come at His perfect timing. We'll always hold a special place in our hearts for the 7 children we had hoped to adopt, and we still pray almost daily that they have found great families that will raise them up to follow God's ways. We will be praying alongside your family for God to reveal His plan to you soon! God Bless!
