LFA Day 30 - Chao Cali, Hello Bogota!

We need to get to bed soon but wanted to post real quick to update!

Passports this morning - what an ADVENTURE! Wow! The whole day was a complete whirlwind from 6:30 am when we woke up to rushing around ALL DAY. We were loco!

We made it to Bogota with no problems! It is SO great to be here and yet it was sad to leave the area where our children were from and also our new friends. Thankfully, we had no problems on the flight - the kids loved it! The flight was just about 1 hour, so it was a nice introduction for them. The next flight will be many hours. We hope to return home by next Friday. We´ll hang our here for the weekend and then start all the US Embassy requirements on Monday.

The kids are doing great - for understandable reasons they were all live wires today but they kept their cool for the most part. For such a crazy day, they did REALLY well! The kids were excited about the flight, but are disappointed as they feel like we will never get to our "new" casa. We told them only one more week - that´s the plan.

We really like our new room and our B&B. Hopefully we will sleep well tonight. We will give more details tomorrow! Good Night!

Counting down until you are home, but meanwhile, be sure to take lots of pictures there and relax with each other - you have earned it! I am praying for a fantastic weekend and look forward to next Friday, big time! All day long, I kept reflecting on how many prayers are being said on your behalf; and how God provided in ways that we could not fathom!
Love, Mom

Praying that these final details will all be done without complication. Seeing as the Lord parted the Red Sea we are certain that He can take care of the red tape that is left. :)

Praying for you to have a relaxing weekend.
