LFA Day 25 - "Is It July or Is It Just Me?"

Our kids LOVE fountains or simply "agua" as the kids often exclaim! It is precious! I snapped this picture when we went to the mall today. The kids got down and put their hands in the water and splashed around. They had a blast! We enjoyed our 1 hour and 15 minutes at the mall and it was so nice! There were lots of fountains in the mall and we stopped to enjoy each of them! It was so great to get out of our B&B for a while and mingle with the rest of the Colombian society :)

We have also had a great time today reviewing the kids new middle names and their new last name. We introduced them last week and the kids really like them and are excited about them. They kept saying them to us with big smiles and giggles. That was a lot of fun today and special too.

We are incredibly encouraged by our beloved friends who are joining together to pray for us & the remainder of our process - WOW! Thank you so much, dear friends, we are truly grateful.

P.S. - L.F.A. stands for La Familia Armstrong!

Karl and Julie: I love the picture at the fountain. What cuties; even from behind! I so appreciate your blog site. It gives us all an opportunity to participate daily with your adventure. We talked at dinner tonight with our kids about you and they are looking forward to welcoming you home! Be certain that we will be praying for you at church, during House to House, in the evening etc etc. Without ceasing until we see you again! Love, Monica

Yeah for LFA!! What a precious day it will be when your children truly understand (past language and spiritual barriers) what miracles the Lord has worked in their lives! The LFB's are praying, too!

Ditto on the prayers!!! Our ABC class prayed for your family this morning and our H2H will be praying tonight. Enjoy the warmth as the story would be a little different if you were here. Can't wait to meet the rest of LFA!

We enjoy your daily updates very much. We pray daily that God will provide encouragement, wisdom and quick progress through the Columbian court system. We can't wait to see you back in Peoria and meet your children. By the way, the high temperature today was 9 degrees, enjoy the warm weather. God bless you and keep you.

Karl and Julie: Another great morning at Bethany. The highlight was meeting in the junior high room to pray for your family. I sound like a broken record but it is a privilege to share in this process with you. A new adoption bible study started and I couldn't help but think about your testimony. I wondered if the study would impact their lives as it has yours. There were a couple with the "deer in the headlights" look. They looked slightly panicked but I was overjoyed to see them! Hope you had a great day. Monica

Hello LFA,
The fountain pictures are great! Glad to see you're all having fun together. We had a bunch of people praying for the LFA this morning and we'll be praying the remaining legal processes through with your too. Please continue to let us know of your needs. Though you're not here physically, you are continually in our thoughts and the subject of our prayer. "He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Prov. 2:7-8 We love you!
