Friday nights are our date nights. The only problem is that with the intensity of the busyness & persistent demands over here, we haven't had one of our Friday dates in quite a while...in fact, it looks like July 20th to be exact! As Karl would say, "that's pathetic."
So, our plan tonight is to get out of here and put off the million lingering responsibilities for a couple of hours and go see "Mr. Bean's Holiday" together. We need a good laugh real bad! I am so excited!
My Mom gave us this article below about stress & "burnout." Yeah, we think we are both showing preliminary signs of burnout! I think it is safe to say that feeling like a total zombie all day would count :) Hopefully taking it easy tonight will help since we have to hit the projects hard again tomorrow and Monday.
I donated the last very large & heavy box and a lamp - the remnants of our garage sale - to that was great to get those out of the garage. Now we have a few other remaining things left to clear out of the garage so we can reclaim that space.
This week is the last class for our current class. The exciting news is that our Professora for Spanish said YES she will definitely work with us for the next class so we can make up any missed assignments if we have to travel to Colombia before the class is over! We are so thankful and very much looking forward to our upcoming second Spanish class!!! ¡Muy bien!
