Karl and I both agree that our permit fees we paid were well worth it! The two gentlemen who came for our inspection today were extremely helpful & their insights will help us avoid problems in the future as we proceed with our projects. We are pleased to announce that we have been authorized to proceed: we passed! All our structural and electrical changes look good! We have been elated all day!
Before they came this morning, we primed the bathroom walls and they are looking good! We also took all the remaining tile down in our shower area. What else? You guessed it - a fourth trip to Lowes for supplies! We also took advantage of the lovely weather and worked on some projects in the garage - including repairing a dresser that will be used for the Kids' room. It's been a good day & we are thankful! We are so glad that we still have one remaining weekday left to try to get more done. We have worked so hard and have accomplished a lot - but still have quite a way to go.
We have had a lot of great laughs this week. This time off to prepare the house for our Children has been a real blessing!
