We had such a terrific time on our CHI Reunion getaway weekend! We had awful weather on the way to St. Louis so we arrived much later than expected but thankfully the remainder of the trip went very well! The only bummer is that it went much too quickly! We REALLY enjoyed spending time with other families who have also adopted children from Colombia! We were also encouraged to see such a host of happy adoptive families from all over the world at the Reunion. We ate dinner with other families, talked, laughed, went to the pool and had a lot of fun! Our hotel experience was fantastic and the kids keep asking us when we will be staying in another hotel again! We have decided that we are definitely going back for the Reunion weekend again next year!!!

Sounds like a great time! So glad you kept safe in the nasty weather! We actually got together this weekend with 3 other families in the Des Monies area who are adopting from various orphanages in Haiti. Together the 4 families have 6 biological children, but are adopting 9 Haitian children. When they all get home, our reunion will have 15 kids! What fun!!!
