Anji loves going to school! The first day Papi and Mami took her to school. We met her teacher and a couple of the other students that would be in her class and watched her eat her breakfast there. At the end of the day, we picked her up from school and went to the zoo!
The second day, Anji took the bus both to and from school. She really enjoys the bus! She has a nice bus driver and very cheery bus monitor who looks like she takes very good care of our little girl.
Mami and Papi have been working together to get Anji ready for school which includes a time for prayer and reading the Bible to her in Spanish. It is a special time together. And again this morning at 7 am, we sent our little Anji off on the bus for her third day at school.
It has been heart-wrenching for us – sending her off has been really, really difficult – much more so than we anticipated.
As far as the new schedule goes, we are all pretty tired but thankfully everyone seems to be adapting fairly well to the new bedtime, wake-up times, as well as the change in time for meals, etc.

Praying for you, that the Lord would protect Anji as she goes to school and that He gives you comfort in knowing that He goes with her.
It was so great seeing you and the two little ones yesterday at Target. It was neat to hear you talking about Anji going to school. The pictures are great. She really looks very happy! What three special kiddos you have!
