Our new town is really feeling more like home. The kids are no longer disoriented and we are all learning our way around! Everyone seems happy, content. There is a freshness and excitement for all that the Lord has in store for our family.
Here are some recent Armstrong highlights:
- I am not quite as dependent upon my GPS and can actually turn it off once in a while and even improvised the other day and took a shortcut & didn't get lost
- The girls enjoyed a very fun week of VBS
- We have a new niece and another niece/nephew on the way
- A happy Father's Day - dia de papis
- Karl's parents visited us
- Beaker is back home
- We love our new library and have better access to great materials than before
- We all continue to meet new friends including more adoptive families
- Met many of our neighbors at a recent neighborhood picnic & had a great time
- We have already had some play dates/get-togethers and have more to come
- The kids are doing really great, thriving in every way
- We should have high-speed internet at home soon - so more frequent blogging to come
- The land behind our home was mowed to my horror...but thankfully the wildlife we have been enjoying still abounds and not only are we hearing the bob white quails still, Karl saw TWO of them in our next-door neighbor's yard and was able to catch them on camera
- The long-awaited grassroots Colombia reunion is very soon and we are totally looking forward to that special time
- Not much is happening with our remaining boxes as we plan how we want rooms set up but the house seems less disorderly with the boxes stacked and waiting for our attention later
- Karl worked on the garage & it is much improved
- Karl likes his new position very much as well as the other staff
- Anji lost her first tooth & will hopefully lose her second soon!
- Mami & niños are enjoying the summer & lots of time together
- I am finally gearing up to start creating lifebooks for the kids. I have been saving lots of special "mementos" to put in their books all along. Today, I am checking out a book & am excited to get some ideas on how to start this process!
- Overall, we are enjoying a harmonious household and such a special bond of love with all three of the children (and between Karl & I!) - thanks to the Lord!

So very happy to hear that you are all doing well! It sounds so good it makes me want to move! - just kidding. :)
The Lord has placed you right where He wants you!
Awesome! There's no place like home. Looking forward to meeting your family soon! Yea!
I am so glad that God is richly blessing you. It's so fun to see pics of the kids on your site. I miss you guys!
WE MISS YOU!!!!!
Can't wait to see you all in STL for the Colombian reunion, and I am so glad all is going well. Also, I am very interested to hear about your lifebooks and any great resources you have. Please e-mail me at tamorg@sbcglobal.net! I have been trying to get motivated to do this but haven't found the thing that makes me sit down and know where to begin or what to do. I thought my scrapbooking skills would be helpful but it is a little overwhelming to create these books!
